"Honey" covers a lot of very different products, and ours sits at one specific end of that range: raw, wild-hunted forest honey, not honey from a managed box hive.
Our forest honey is wild-hunted rather than farmed, and it's never heated or industrially filtered the way a lot of commercial honey is. That means the natural enzymes and aroma that heating and heavy filtering usually strip out stay intact in the jar you receive.
The only ingredient is pure honey - no added sugar, no syrup, nothing to bulk it out. What you're tasting is exactly what was collected, which is also why its colour and flavour can vary slightly between batches depending on the season's forage.
Like any raw, unpasteurised honey, ours should not be given to children under 12 months old - this is a standard precaution for all raw honey, not specific to our jar, but worth repeating clearly since it matters.
